Leo Servers Privacy Policy

Introduction - Leo Servers Privacy Policy

Leo Servers has created this privacy statement to demonstrate our strong commitment to privacy. The following outlines the information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.

Information Automatically Logged

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. We don't use this information for anything else. At Leo Servers, we believe it is crucial for you to be informed about the information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and how it is protected. To explain our privacy practices and policies, we have developed this policy statement (the "Policy"). We will not sell or disclose your personal information to unaffiliated third parties without your consent, except as otherwise provided in this Policy or our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. To provide you with better service and improve your user experience, we may utilize information about who you are, where and when you browse the web, your wireless device location, and how you use our network when you sign up for or use any of our products or services.

Leo Servers may also provide shorter or machine-readable versions of this Privacy Policy. These additional policies are intended only as summaries of this complete Privacy Policy. Customers using and purchasing our products and services in the United States are subject to this Policy. The collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information may be subject to different regulations outside the United States. Leo Servers will revise and update this Policy as needed, including, for example, if our practices change or if required by law.

Order Forms

At Leo Servers, our website incorporates order forms to facilitate service requests, all of which are protected by 128-bit encryption. To prevent unauthorized access to any data we collect, we use the information solely for internal purposes. Contact information is provided on these order forms so that we can reach out to customers as necessary. The billing process for the requested services uses the billing information obtained through these forms. We also gather special identifiers from visitors to our website to confirm the user's identification. While you are on our site, we may also collect demographic and profile data about you.

Security

Our website employs strong security measures to guard against possible loss, misuse, or modifications of the information we manage in order to protect your data. We value your privacy and take robust SSL encryption seriously.

Third Parties

The information gathered on our site is strictly for internal use. No external parties are granted access to your personal data, including billing information.

Defamatory or Abusive Language

Using Leo Servers's network to transmit or post negative, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or threatening language is prohibited. This includes the falsification or misrepresentation of message headers, whether partially or fully, to conceal the message's true origin.

Obscene Speech or Materials

Using Leo Servers's network to promote, transmit, store, display, or otherwise make available child pornography or any obscene speech or materials is strictly prohibited. In compliance with the law, Leo Servers is obligated to notify law enforcement authorities when it becomes aware of child pornography on its network or if it is being transmitted.

Large File Policy

At Leo Servers, our services are not intended for file hosting or distribution. As such, customers are not permitted to host files exceeding 50MB in size, particularly if they are solely for downloading. Such files may include .ISO files, audio/video files, or .EXE files. Engaging in Other Illegal Activities

Engaging in illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes actions such as promoting, disseminating, or providing Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, false credit card charges, or software piracy. These activities are in violation of our AUP and will not be tolerated.

Illegal or Unauthorized Access to Other Computers or Networks

Engaging in activities like illegally accessing computers, accounts, or networks belonging to others, or attempting to breach the security of another individual's system (also known as "hacking"), is strictly prohibited. Additionally, any activities that precede a system breach attempt, such as port scanning, stealth scanning, or other information-gathering activities, are not allowed. The distribution of information related to the creation or transmission of Internet viruses, worms, Trojan horses, as well as actions like pinging, flooding, mail bombing, or denial-of-service attacks, is prohibited. These activities may disrupt the network and impair others' ability to use it successfully.

Export Control Violations

Exporting encryption software over the Internet or through any other means to locations outside the United States is prohibited.

UseNet Groups

Leo Servers reserves the right to refuse postings from UseNet groups if we have concrete knowledge that the content within the group violates our AUP.

Other Responsibility

At Leo Servers, we place a strong emphasis on the actions our users take, whether lawful or unlawful, when those actions have the potential to harm our subscribers, operations, reputation, goodwill, or customer relationships. While the primary responsibility for avoiding these harmful activities rests with the subscriber, we must ensure the integrity of our services. We do not routinely monitor our subscribers' communications to verify compliance with Leo Servers's policies or applicable laws. However, should we discover any harmful activities, we may take appropriate action to stop them. This may include removing specific content, suspending websites, deploying screening software to block offensive transmissions, denying Internet access, or any other action we deem necessary.

We recognize that many of our customers operate their own Internet service businesses. Information reaching Leo Servers's facilities through these subscribers may come from their customers or other third parties. Leo Servers does not require subscribers offering Internet services to monitor or censor transmissions or websites created by their customers. Leo Servers reserves the right to take direct action against the customer of our subscribers. If a customer's activities impact other subscribers, we may take action against the subscriber directly. We also expect our subscribers who provide Internet services to assist us in implementing any necessary remedial or preventative measures. Failure to cooperate with these measures will be considered a violation of Leo Servers's policies.

It is important to note that we do not intentionally monitor private electronic mail messages sent or received by our subscribers unless required by law, government authorities, or if there are concerns about public safety. However, we may monitor our services to ensure they are functioning properly. We may also disclose information, including subscriber details or transmissions made using our network, to comply with court orders, subpoenas, summons, discovery requests, warrants, statutes, regulations, or government requests. In some instances, we may be legally prohibited from notifying the subscriber about such disclosures. Additionally, we may disclose subscriber information or transmitted data when necessary to protect Leo Servers or others from harm, or for the proper functioning of our systems. Please note that we do not sell any information to other services or external companies. We expect that subscribers providing Internet services to others will fully comply with all applicable laws regarding online communication privacy. Failure to comply with these laws will be considered a violation of Leo Servers's policy.

Finally, Leo Servers wants to clarify that by agreeing to the Service Agreement, subscribers hold Leo Servers harmless from any losses incurred due to violations of the Service Agreement, the law, or Leo Servers's policy, as well as any claims made by third parties. If Leo Servers is sued because of the actions of a subscriber or a subscriber's customer, the subscriber will be responsible for any damages awarded against Leo Servers, as well as related costs and reasonable attorney's fees. We believe this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) helps all Internet users, including Leo Servers and its subscribers, understand their responsibilities within the online community. For grievances regarding a subscriber's alleged breach of this AUP, please contact us at sales@leoservers.com.
